A note from Don Tickle on Premier

I’d like to advise that effective 1 February 2018 Rivers Insurance Brokers and Austbrokers Premier Insurance Brokers will be merging.

For clients, this development provides us with additional scale to support our investments in systems and more importantly it will also provide additional capability to our team and increased leverage with insurers. This will ensure we can continue to provide the best possible outcome for our clients in terms of service, price, coverage and claims outcomes into the future.

Both Rivers and Austbrokers Premier have a proud history of providing exceptional insurance advice and client service to a broad range of clients through-out Australia with a particular focus on Queensland. Whilst we will become one of Queensland’s largest privately owned Brokerages, we are absolutely committed to maintaining our family run feel to our business.

I am very excited to be joining forces with Premier. Having Premier join us in Brisbane will really help accelerate our aspiration of helping more people find the best cover across Queensland. Importantly it will provide us with some serious scale in South East Queensland and add further capability to our team throughout the State.

The combined Rivers/Austbrokers Premier business will have operations in Cairns, Innisfail, Gladstone and Brisbane. It will employ in excess of 40 Staff and provide insurance and risk services to around 7,000 clients.
