As part of our continuing series that highlights our clients and their businesses, we’d like to shine the spotlight on Down Under Cruise & Dive.

Peppi Iovannella is owner and operator of Down Under Cruise and Dive, Billy Tea Safaris and Savannah luxury Cruise, based in Cairns.

Down Under Dive has been operating for over 35 years. It carries 50,000 visitors to the reef annually and employeed over 100 full time staff (pre-covid)

What makes them different is their commitment to transforming the visitor experience at North Hastings Reef through innovation and to showcasing the resilience of the Great Barrier Reef to the world. They are positioning as a leader in reef tourism delivery and the construction and installation of a major Coral Nursery Forest will allow the company to develop new compelling experiences of the World Heritage area and drive visitation and expenditure in the region.

They are Advanced Eco-Tourism accredited and are experts at leveraging opportunities for exposure and sales through our 30 years of involvement in multiple regional tourism organisations, including Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ), Tourism and Events Queensland, and Tourism Port Douglas and Daintree (TPDD).

They offer a great range of reef and dive tours and excursions that will take you to this worlds natural wonder.
